Tuesday, December 07, 2004
Here is a pretty cool little site that does what it says. Techbooksforfree.com allows you to access technology books for free, it links to FREE resources all over the web. The only catch is that you have to read online, which can be quite annoying sometimes. Anotehr site of the same genre worthing checking out is the the O'reilly Open Book Project.

INFORMATION IS POWER, FREE THE INFORMATION !

OSX Dock on Windows XP: Aquadock

This is a free little app that allows you to mimic the Apple Mac OS X dock that has become so popular, on a Windows XP machine. (May work on Win 2000 and below but I have never tested it). It is FREE, easy to set up and you can download many different add on docklets for it.
Here is the download link.
http://www.osx-e.com/modules.php?modid=1&action=show&id=83 (or do a Google search)

Also you can head over to Dockex.com to download many different dockets for it. Keep in mind that this dock supports docklets created for the Y'z Dock, so ONLY download compatible dockets or it WILL NOT work !

Here is a screenshot, COOL ! Looks just like Darwin !

Microsoft has released its new search engine (now in beta). Expect to see this bundled and integrated into all things Microsoft in the near future. MSN nows sets its sights on Google and the Search Engine market space. Good freaking luck, but as we all know Microsoft isn't where they are in the IT industry because of luck.
